Special powders, Grex buffering, and 1 1/4 ounces of copper-plated #4 shot help this 3-inch shell produce excellent patterns that will take down gobblers at short and medium range. The copper-plated shot contributes to the shell's accuracy by reducing deformation, keeping the pellets round in flight and improving their ballistic performance. Manufactured in Oxford, Mississippi, these shells come packaged in a box of 10.

#4 birdshot measures approximately 3.28 mm, or an eight of an inch, in diameter. While highly effective against large birds, it's not much good against humans due to its low penetration.
