Aguila ammunition has earned a reputation for being very reliable and consistent especially from their rimfire department. This 500 round brick of 22 LR is loaded without gun powder and relies solely on the priming compound as a propellant. As a result, the 20 grain projectile leaves the barrel very slowly averaging only 420 feet per second. These rounds are recommended for use in handguns only as the projectile may not exit a rifle length barrel. Having no powder makes these rounds extremely quiet and nearly recoil-less. These are perfect for low volume shooting or training new shooters who may be sensitive to noise and recoil.
