About This Fiocchi 223 Remington Ammunition

This .223 Remington ammo from Fiocchi makes a great varmint or defense load thanks to its 55 grain soft point bullet, which produces excellent expansion at the high velocities of the .223 round without the intense fragmentation of jacketed hollow points. Expect similar in-flight ballistics to those of M193 ball ammunition including a muzzle velocity of about 3,240 feet per second.

These cartridges come in boxes of 20, with 10 boxes in each case. They use non-corrosive Boxer primers and brass cases. Like other Fiocchi ammo, they come from either Ozark, Missouri or Lecco, Italy.

    I have not been able to shoot this ammo yet but have shot it in 9 mm and I had no reservation whatsoever to buy it for 223. I think Fiocchi is top notch.
