About This Fiocchi 223 Remington Ammunition

Ideal for steel target shooting and close quarters training with AR-15s and other .223/5.56 NATO rifles, this .223 Remington ammunition from Fiocchi features frangible bullets that disintegrate into harmless powder on contact with hard surfaces. Each cartridge in this box of 50 fires a 45 grain copper/tin alloy bullet at a muzzle velocity of 3,200 feet per second.

The projectiles for this ammo are manufactured by Sinterfire, the industry leader in non-toxic frangible ammunition. The complete cartridges are loaded at Fiocchi of America in Ozark, Missouri using brass cases and non-corrosive Boxer primers.
