This .308 Winchester version fires a heavy 165 grain Ballistic Tip at 2,800 feet per second, delivering deep penetration and a broad mushroom that will bring your target down quickly.The Ballistic Tip achieves its impressive performance through a number of design characteristics. The round's hard polymer insert regulates the opening of the expansion cavity, while the bullet jacket has a tapering shape that ends in a thick, boat-tailed base that delivers excellent accuracy and helps push the core into the familiar mushroom shape.
