About This Silver Bear 308 / 7.62x51 Ammunition

Target shooters will appreciate the low cost of this .308 Winchester ammo from Barnaul's Silver Bear series. This ammunition delivers good performance in AR-10s, M-14s, and a variety of other .308/7.62 NATO rifles.

Each round in this bulk priced case of 500 (order here at AmmoMan.com for free shipping!) fires a 145 grain full metal jacket bullet at 2,742 feet per second. Although this is not a mil-spec load, it produces external ballistics roughly comparable to those of M80 ball and should not require much in the way of adjustment to your optics if you typically fire such ammo.

Silver Bear ammo is made by the Barnaul Machine Plant in Russia. It uses zinc-plated, non-reloadable steel cases and non-corrosive Berdan primers.
