For rock-solid performance during deer season, turn to Federal Vital-Shok ammunition featuring Trophy Bonded Tip bullets. These .308 Winchester/7.62 NATO cartridges feature a 180 grain version of the TBT, which is easily distinguishable by its translucent polymer tip. The tip makes the bullet more efficient in flight and produces better external ballistics; upon contact with the target, it initiates the expansion of the thick copper jacket and lead core to produce a wide, deadly mushroom. A boat-tailed base adds long-range stability, while a solid copper shank enhances the projectile's ability to penetrate through hide and bone.

Each round in this box of 20 fires a Trophy Bonded Tip bullet at a muzzle velocity of 2,620 feet per second. This ammo is accurate to 500 yards and beyond with the right shooter and equipment and works well against a wide variety of game animals. These cartridges use non-corrosive Boxer primers and nickel-plated brass cases.
