About This G2 Research .380 Auto Ammunition

This lead-free ammunition from G2 Research fires the "Radically Invasive Projectile," a pre-fragmented design with seven solid copper shards (referred to by the manufacturer as "trocars") that are intended to spread 3-4 inches outward and stop an attacker.

These .380 ACP cartridges come in boxes of 20 and fire a light 62 grain bullet at a muzzle velocity of 1,250 feet per second. According to G2, these projectiles exhibit penetration of 9-11 inches with considerable fragmentation.
