About This SinterFire .40 Smith & Wesson Ammunition

Sinterfire cartridges are the industry standard for frangible training ammo. These .40 S&W rounds come in boxes of 50 and fire a 105 grain non-toxic copper-tin alloy bullet that breaks apart safely into harmless fragments on contact with steel targets or other hard surfaces. This makes them ideal for close quarters practice.

Due to their light projectile, these cartridges produce a muzzle velocity of 1,350 feet per second. This is significantly higher than typical .40 Smith & Wesson loads and helps the bullet disintegrate more fully.

Sinterfire ammo is loaded in Kersey, Pennsylvania and uses non-corrosive Boxer primers and brass cases.
