Its gilding metal sheathe encompasses even the base of the bullet, thus preventing searing propellant gasses from aerosolizing the lead within its core. Your little pink lungs won’t become steeped in toxic gas while you’re honing your aim!
This round’s brass casing has never before seen the light of day, so you can reload it quite a few times. Speer uses a sensitive CCI primer and charge of clean burning modern propellant to take care of ignition, so don’t expect any duds after you crack this box open.

Posted onhave gold dots but use this as carry ammo in the woods.....plenty enough for coyotes but like the thought of deeper penetration for potential black bears etc......... would not hesitate to use for self defense....had to put a small buck down a few weeks ago that was dying from EHD.....bullet went in the upper front leg straight into the heart from about 3 feet.....wound was pretty devastating......bone fragment plus bullet impact registered instant/humane kill......glock 23...
