While racing around our warehouse to fulfill our customers’ orders with lightning speed, we’ll occasionally damage some boxes. Mistakes like those very seldom damage the ammo within the boxes, which leaves us with a dilemma: What should we do with so much loose, unpackaged, yet otherwise still perfectly useable ammo?

We couldn’t very well donate it to the Salvation Army, so we bundle it all up in new .30 caliber field boxes and offer it at a tremendous discount.

We’ve filled this particular field box with 12 pounds of 44 Magnum ammo. Conservatively that’s about 220 rounds, so you’ll be able to get quite a lot of mileage out of just this one field box.

But here’s the thing: Outside of their brass casings, we can’t confirm anything about these rounds’ bullets. Maybe some of these rounds have 240 grain truncated cone soft points. Others might have 200 grain semi-jacketed hollow points. There are sure to be some plain old FMJs in there as well. But at the end of the day, this is probably the best deal you can get on ammo outside of breaking into your local sporting goods store.
