Federal's classic Hi-Shok round is a good way to test the feeding of hollow points in your firearm at an economical price. These standard pressure .45 ACP rounds, suitable for use in a variety of popular carry pistols such as the 1911, Springfield XD, Sig P226, and Smith & Wesson M&P, use a 230 grain JHP bullet and produce typical ballistics for the .45 Auto.

The .45 ACP, designed by John Moses Browning over 100 years ago, continues to see extensive use for law enforcement and self-defense purposes due to its strong track record of stopping assailants quickly, particularly with modern hollow-point ammo.

This ammo, packaged in a case of 1,000, uses non-corrosive Boxer primers and reloadable brass cases. Buy this case, or any other items totaling over $99 from AmmoMan.com, and get free shipping direct to your door!

Customer Reviews

  • Perfection...

I have tried plenty of HIGH DOLLAR "Premium" hollow point loads, occasionally firing those loads which I purchased for carry and had numerous failures to feed. Even some round nose FMJ rounds gave me FTF's but this ammo feeds flawlessly in all my 1911's.
