.45 AUTO WOLF FMJ 230 GRAIN STEEL CASE (500 ROUNDS)

This .45 ACP ammo from Wolf is an economical way to feed your P226, 1911, M&P, Glock 21 or other .45 Auto pistol. The Russian manufacturer of Wolf ammo keeps prices down by using polymer-coated steel cases; although not reloadable, steel cases with modern coatings feed and eject well and deliver excellent value if you don't like scavenging on the ground for spent cases. This 500 round case, packaged in 10 boxes of 50, helps reduce prices even further--buy in bulk and save.

These rounds use non-corrosive Berdan primers and a 230 grain bimetal jacketed bullet. This ammo does have magnetic properties, which may make it unsuitable for some indoor ranges. Check with your faciliity before ordering, or go to an outdoor range and blast away on the cheap!

All ammo orders totaling more than $99 from AmmoMan.com receive an extra gift: free shipping! Our free shipping policy for bulk orders is a great value that serves as a "thank you" for customers who choose us for their high volume shooting needs.

My Glock eats this up like it's the best quality ammo around. My 1911's on the other hand, at least one failure to feed per mag, but never a failure to eject. I honestly don't care though. I purchased 1,000 rounds to break in a couple 1911's that I wanted to do economically. The ammo does it's job for that. When it doesn't feed, I rack the slide hard and it does. It's strictly for target / break-in, or for my Glock.

First time using steel case rounds. While loading my clips my fingers got dirty, but big deal. I thought this ammo did just fine. Zero problems, shot straight, destroyed the black in my target. For the price, very good target rounds . . . hell, target rounds? I shot close, I shot far away. I hit everything I aimed at. Accurate. No difference from brass. When I'm through with this batch I will order again.

If you haven't bought Wolf in awhile, it's not quite what you may remember. The primers aren't sealed, (red lacquered) like they used to be, and kinda like the bulk CCI 22/36 (bulk) stuff, it's really "waxy", now, for some reason. That said, it fed, it fired, it did fine. I'll find out how it cleans tomorrow, (but that's kind of secondary to the whole "fed/fired" thing in an Austrian firearm) but while it may not keep as well as the older stuff, I call it well worth the $$!!

Thank you again, and as always, to Ammoman!!
I do appreciate the effort you guys put in to keep it priced and delivered as well as anybody in the business, and way better than most!!
(Now, if we could just get you to use UPS instead of Fedex, it would be near perfect unless it were free!!)
    Thanks again!!!
