The SST’s sleek secant ogive geometry and boat tail both boost its ballistic coefficient for a flat trajectory. The SST is even more accurate thanks to its sharp, tapered polymer tip. That tip gives the SST its name, as it wedges into the core upon impact to unleash devastating expansion. The SST is equipped with Hornady’s InterLock ring, which inserts the jacket into the core to prevent them from splitting apart during penetration. Hornady thought out every part of the SST.
