Posted onThis "hardball" version of the Tokarev round is great but with some digging one can find that PPU also makes a HP version of this round that expands tremendously probably because of the extreme velocity of this caliber. PPU has always been a superb round in all the calibers I have used from the Tokarev round to the Makarov 9X18 round and also they make a tremendous SP round for the .30M1 carbine that turns that little carbine into a great easy to handle deer rifle. My Son in Law bought about 500 rounds of this ammo from Ammoman and it arrived quickly and of course came with free shipping.

Posted onI tried Red Army rounds as well, but the PRVI Partizan are just a much better fit for M57. Its the Serbian connection, perhaps. But really, I think its the casing that makes the difference. Red Army is steel, while Prvi Is brass. It slides in and out of mag much more smoothly. Great round all around!

Posted onNo range problems with this ammo. Walked right in passed the magnet. Put 10 clips through my TTC no misfeeds, missfires, or duds. Accurate to 20 yards. Hope they get the 500 round case in again soon so I can get more.
