7.62X39 SILVER BEAR 123 GRAIN HP (500 ROUNDS)

This 7.62x39 Silver Bear ammunition from the Barnaul Machine Plant in Russia is an inexpensive but reliable target or hunting load for an SKS or AK pattern rifle. Packaged here in a case of 500, these rounds use a typical 123 grain bimetal jacketed hollow point bullet, non-corrosive Berdan primers, and non-reloadable zinc-plated steel cases. These rounds have magnetic properties and may not be permitted at all indoor ranges.

The 7.62x39 round, though not as popular for deer hunting as others, has made inroads among shooters due to its low cost and strong ballistic properties. Good shot placement with can put venison on the table at an impressively low cost.
