About This SinterFire 9mm Luger Ammunition

If you're shooting steel targets or training in tight spaces, you'll want some frangible ammo. This 9mm Luger ammunition from industry leader SinterFire disintegrates into inert, harmless powder on contact with surfaces, preventing dangerous ricochets.

Each cartridge in this box of 50 fires a 90 grain copper-tin alloy frangible bullet and uses non-corrosive Sintox boxer primers. Both the bullet and the primer are lead-free, a great benefit in indoor environments where ventilation tends to be suboptimal. Needless to say, a lead free round is also environmentally friendly and makes cleanup easier.

SinterFire is a Pennsylvania-based R&D company specializing in frangible "reduced hazard" ammo for tactical training. They have been in business since the late 1990s and supply a variety of customers including steel target shooters and police agencies.
