With WOLF, the quality is first seen visually when the shooter inspects the cartridge. Later the quality is experienced when the cartridge is fired. The attention to detail in the manufacturing process is the key to WOLF Performance Ammunition.

Sixteen quality checks are performed on every cartridge during manufacture. Each round is visually inspected and random samples from each lot are test fired for accuracy and reliability. Test firings are performed under two conditions: Full automatic and single fire to measure precise accuracy. The tests are also performed in extreme conditions at -50 C and +50 C simulating the most adverse situations shooters will ever experience. WOLF is 100% newly manufactured using premium materials and ultra modern production processes. All of the raw materials used in WOLF Performance Ammunition are subject to strict inspection and rigorous testing.

WOLF Performance Ammunition is produced using steel cases of the highest quality. After being formed into the desired caliber, the steel case is then covered with a scratch resistant green lacquer. The green lacquer protects the cartridge and extends its life. By using the highest quality steel, the performance is identical to that of traditional brass case cartridges, if not better. WOLF's high strength cartridge rim better resists tearing during the extraction process. However, steel costs less than brass and the savings is passed on to the consumers. The other components that make up the WOLF cartridge are also of the highest quality. The gunpowder is clean and consistent burning. The primers used by WOLF are non-corrosive. The amount of powder in each case is precisely measured. This prevents hot loads which are common in surplus ammunition. WOLF rifle bullets follow match quality design with boat tail and hollow point characteristics. This results in superior ballistic coefficient which results in less movement from wind, retention of velocity, and the best accuracy.

WOLF pistol bullets are covered in a high quality copper jacket. Other Russian ammunition comes with steel in the jacket of the bullet. This can lead to accelerated barrel wear when shot in expensive pistols.
