You will not see third party ads on our site, and you will not see our ads following you around the web. We simply don’t engage in those kinds of practices. As a result, our Privacy Policy is fairly straight-forward as compared to most online retailers. If you have any questions, please reach out to us at the contact information below.

Collecting Your Information

We collect a variety of information when you place an order on our site. Some of the information we collect is personally identifiable to you, while other information is not. Here is an outline of the personal identifiable and non-personal identifiable information we collect.

We collect the following personal identifiable information (“PII”): first name; last name; date of birth; billing address; shipping address; email address; telephone number; and credit card information. If you live in a state which requires us to collect a firearms permit or photo identification from you at the time of purchase, then we will also collect that information. If you live in a state which requires us to collect any other information from you at the time of purchase (such as your occupation), then we will also collect that information. This PII is only collected when you proceed through the checkout process on our site, or when you create a customer account. We do not collect this PII when you simply browse our site.

We also collect the following non-personal identifiable information (“NPII”): anonymized visitor data like age, gender, and interests; IP address; device type; order history; and browser type. This NPII may be collected simply by browsing our site.

Protecting Your Information

In our attempt to prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, we have put in place a number of procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect.

Secure communications on the web require attention to authentication, encryption, and data integrity. All three are addressed by industry-standard SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) protocol. We use SSL to communicate with secure browsers. This means that when you provide your PII, it is encrypted in a way that makes it difficult for others to decode.

PCI-DSS are the governing guidelines established by the payment card industry to protect consumers’ PII and data security. We maintain compliance with PCI-DSS, conduct regular penetration testing by third party IT specialists, and are constantly looking for and learning about new ways to enhance our data protection strategies.

Sharing Your Information

We do not share your PII with any outside marketing agencies, retargeting companies, or other digital advertisers. We only share your PII with outside vendors who are necessary to help us serve you. They include our credit card processing company to process your payment, our warehouse to pick and pack your order, FedEx and UPS to deliver your order, AgeChecker.net to verify your age, our email outreach partner to help us communicate with you in an efficient, noninvasive manner; and other back-end support to help serve you. We limit the amount of information each of these vendors receives from us. For example, our email outreach partner receives your email address, but not your billing and shipping address.

Like most of the places you order online, we use first-party and third-party cookies to collect anonymized NPII, so we can understand how our customers use our site and our customers' shopping preferences, with the ultimate goal of improving our service. We analyze this data by using Google Analytics and Google Analytics Advertising Features, which may include Google Signals, Google Analytics Demographics and Interest Reporting, and Google Search Console. By using AmmoMan.com, you are agreeing to Google Analytics Terms of Service. You are welcome to opt out of this process: check out the opt-out options provided by the NAI or Google, or change your settings on Google Ad Preferences. We do not invite any other third parties to collect your information when you use our site.

We reserve the right to share your PII and any other information when we feel we are legally obligated to do so. This includes, but is not limited to, situations where we have received a lawful subpoena or court order, where we need to enforce this Privacy Policy or our Conditions of Use, or where we need to protect the rights and safety of ourselves or others.

Modifying Your Information

If you have a customer account, you can modify your PII at any time by logging in and making your desired changes. Similarly, we reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time. Revised versions of the policy will be posted on this webpage.

Communicating With You

From time to time, we will use your PII to contact you about your order or to notify you of product specials. You can opt out of these notifications at any time by unsubscribing from our email list. And if you would like to get in touch with us, please give us a call at (856) 767-8835 or send us an email at info@ammoman.com. Finally, please be aware, if you contact us to make a Do Not Track request, it does not result in a change of our behavior, as we don’t track your online browsing habits in the first place.

Nevada Opt Outs

Under Nevada state law, Nevada residents have the right to request that we never sell their PII. If you live in Nevada and want to submit such a request, please email privacy@ammoman.com.
