Great especially for folks with thinner wallets
Posted onThough it doesnt "feel" any hotter than the hardball ammo advertising slightly slower muzzle velocities and slightly lower deliver of energy, the product "specs" indicate that it is a bit hotter than the other hardball ammo currently available through Ammoman. I have run water tests on expansion with this ammmo and it does expand quite nicely which is not always the case with .380 ammo. I was collecting rounds expanded to .50 caliber and some even a bit more and the bullets seem to hold together without separation as one might expect with lower priced hollowpoints. Though this product will never tear me away from my beloved Speer GDHP rounds,as tight as money has been I was temporarily torn away if only for 500 rounds. That amount goes pretty quickly when you have 4 mouseguns chambered for the round.
In short, this ammo never has failed to fire, expands nicely in water (dont have access to ballistic gelatin and am not about to waste a brisket or something just to check out bullet expansion in tissue so.....I recommend this ammo highly especially for the budget conscious. You really can save some money while maintaining a feeling of security in using this ammo! -
