10MM UNDERWOOD 220 GRAIN HARD CAST (200 ROUNDS)

WHY IS THIS 10MM AUTO CARTRIDGE’S BULLET IDEAL FOR DEFENSE AGAINST DANGEROUS GAME? Because:
1. It is heavy. At 220 grains, the bullet conserves the superior momentum requisite to penetrate a large animal’s hide, fat and muscle.
2. It is a hard cast. Made of thickly alloyed lead, the bullet avoids expansion/deformation that could have impaired its ability to tunnel through flesh.
3. It is a flat nose. In addition to promoting proper feeding in a 10mm pistol, this nose profile secures even deeper penetration still.
4. It is polymer coated. Underwood’s “Black Cherry” polymer prevents the bullet from smearing lead down a handgun’s bore, and also reduces friction that shortens a barrel’s lifespan.

This ammo is not good for urban defense. Its 220 grain flat nose Black Cherry coated hard cast is pretty much guaranteed to pass through a man, which would be bad news for any innocent bystanders behind him. But if you’re packing heat in case you are assaulted by a ticked off moose, bear, wild pig, or mountain lion, then Underwood’s ammo has your six.

See this ammo’s nickel-plated brass cases? They’re slicker than unplated ones, and run through a semi-auto more efficiently because of it. You can’t see this ammo’s low-flash propellant in the photos, but you’ll witness its vision-conserving effect if you ever have to dump a mag into a cantankerous bear come nighttime.
