Barnes loads this immensely powerful 12 Gauge ammo in the state of Utah, and while it would certainly serve well during a deer hunt, it is designed to provide the precision and the reliability you deserve if you ever have to defend your homestead.

This is a true magnum shotshell, with the approximately 1-7/8 ounces of 00 buckshot and 1,225 fps muzzle velocity that it needs to boast a dram equivalent of 4. It’s able to store so much shot because it is 3” in length (make sure your shotgun’s chamber can fit the longer shell beforehand). The hard lead pellets remain round under pressure so they can pattern tightly upon exiting the barrel, and each one is heavy enough to strike a target at close range with over 150 ft lbs of energy. If you land just half of this shell’s spread on the threat, you’re still likely to have done the job in one trigger pull.

These shells are loaded with clean-burning powder that helps to preserve a shotgun’s full functionality, as well as tough and straight hulls to promote smooth feeding and extraction in all makes and models of shotguns.
