About This Estate Cartridge 12 Gauge Ammunition

This 12 Gauge shotshell by Estate Cartridge is loaded with 1 ⅛ ounces of #8 lead shot. It is very appropriately billed as a “Dove and Target Load,” as it will serve you admirably while shooting either. Its .09” diameter pellets are splendid for hunting dove and pigeon at average ranges, smaller grouse and partridge, large or distant quail, and the skittish woodcock. With this shell you’ll enjoy dropping such smaller birds without destroying their trophies -- there is nothing worse than spending the day in the field with only a handful of carnage to show for it!

#8 lead shot’s range and size makes it ideal for shattering clays at the range as well. It’s also suitable for home defense if you live in an apartment or condo, as it is less capable of penetrating a wall than double-aught, and thus far less likely to destroy your neighbor’s decorative plate collection.
