This shell is packed with a target load’s maximum allowed 1-1/8 ounce column of shot. NobelSport’s lead is hard, so their #9 shot pellets resist flattening down as they remain spherical, aerodynamic and tight-patterning. You could use #9 shot for other target shooting sports, and it’s an okay choice for the smallest of upland game, but it’s generally preferred by skeeters for its high pellet count – over 650 prills to a single shell.

NobelSport’s supporting components are high-quality and promote consistent performance and patterns. This round’s low-fouling powder propels its shot to a muzzle velocity of 1,145 fps, which is comparatively low.
