This 500 round brick of 22 LR is loaded without gun powder and relies solely on the priming compound as a propellant. As a result, the 20 grain projectile leaves the barrel very slowly averaging only 420 feet per second. These rounds are recommended for use in handguns only as the projectile may not exit a rifle length barrel. Having no powder makes these rounds extremely quiet and nearly recoil-less. These are perfect for low volume shooting or training new shooters who may be sensitive to noise and recoil.
