About This Aguila .22 Long Rifle Ammunition

This 22 LR cartridge delivers an amazingly flat trajectory courtesy of its blazingly fast 1,470 fps muzzle velocity. Aguila claims that this is the fastest 22 LR round with a 40 grain projectile on the market! That translates to tack driving accuracy, the kind you could use well to win contests, impress your buddies, keep your yard devoid of rodents that like to gnaw on siding, or plink with surgical precision.

This round’s bullet features copper plating. That barrier does wonders for a rifle’s or pistol’s bore, protecting its rifling from jamming up with lead that would have taken away precious accuracy. This bullet has a solid point rather than a hollow one, but few varmints are substantial enough to shrug off a direct hit from one of these mini cannon balls.

Aguila’s ammo is engineered, tested, and inspected according to exacting Olympic standards. As such this round’s rimfire primer is extremely sensitive, and its propellant creates its fast muzzle velocity without depositing excessive harmful residues all over your firearm’s action.
