About This Winchester .22 Long Rifle Ammunition
Do you own a 22 LR firearm, and are amicable to the idea of extremely quiet and low-recoil performance? Then it doesn’t matter if you’re gun’s a semi-automatic or not. Winchester Super Suppressed 22 LR is your best bet!This cartridge’s chamber pressure is stout enough to operate an autoloader, but it doesn’t push the bullet to supersonic velocity. That’s the beauty of a 45 grain 22 LR bullet: it is heavy enough to generate enough pressure to cycle, but too heavy to accelerate beyond sonic speed.
This ammo’s copper plated round nose projectiles are black because they are coated to reduce metal fouling. (They aren’t designed for expansion, but they still hold their own against very small game.) Winchester’s select low-flash propellant promotes even subtler performance, and has the added benefit of keeping eyesight from shifting out of night vison mode when it’s dark outside.
