Winchester, a longtime trusted name in American weapon and ammunition manufacturing, offers their Super-X line as solution for affordable hunting and personal defense ammo. These particular rounds are loaded using Winchester's proprietary Silvertip jacketed hollow point (JHP) bullets which expose no part of the lead core to hot gases and cut down on fouling.

With the extra velocity provided by the +P pressure behind it, the Silvertip JHP bullet will expand on impact even when fired from short-barreled pocket revolvers. The 125 grain bullets are light for the caliber and fly with a flatter trajectory with 945 feet per seconds of muzzle velocity from a 4-inch barrel. The rounds possess 248 foot-pounds of muzzle energy which is well retained measuring 224 foot-pounds at 50 yards.
