If your concealed carry or home protection sidearm of choice is a .38 Special revolver, you can count on Winchester Silvertips for self-defense. These cartridges also work well in .357 Magnum revolvers if a lower-recoil load is desired.
Each round in this box of 50 fires a 110 grain jacketed hollow point bullet. The use of a lighter bullet results in a muzzle velocity of 945 feet per second (considerably higher than most .38 Special loads) without excessive recoil or +P pressures. A higher velocity also helps the projectile expand more reliably for improved stopping power.
Winchester ammo is loaded in Oxford, Mississippi using non-corrosive Boxer primers and reloadable brass cases.
