This .40 S&W ammunition belongs to the "Defend" side of the equation and fires a 180 grain jacketed hollow point bullet and achieves a muzzle velocity of about 925 feet per second. Each round's reduced recoil enables the shooter to make faster follow-up shots, effectively increasing both rate of fire and accuracy potential.
These cartridges are manufactured in Winchester's newest facility in Oxford, Mississippi using non-corrosive Boxer primers and nickel-plated brass cases.
