Speer, at the request of Glock, was the original manufacturer of the .45 GAP cartridge in 2003 and no other company does it better to this day. Speer Ammo Manufacturing, also known as CCI Ammunition, has been a well recognized bullet and ammo manufacturer since the 1950's and as such they only use the best materials in their product construction.

Speer uses new reloadable brass casings which are nickel-coated in order to facilitate smoother loading and function as well as defend against environmental corrosion.
