45 LONG COLT WINCHESTER AMERICAN LEVER RANGE 250 GRAIN LFN (50 ROUNDS)
Are you a U.S. Army veteran who misses the 45 Long Colt ammunition you used to get issued back during the 1880s? Then you’ve got a mighty impressive memory despite being at least 150 years old. And you’re using the internet to boot!Or maybe you just fell in love with the 45 Colt last week. Either way, you’ll get a very light kick out of Winchester American Lever Range, which, true to its name, is specially loaded to enhance all aspects of lever action functionality.
This round’s 250 grain lead flat nose bullet is unjacketed, and more or less identical to what you’d have fired back in the day. Its optimized profile enables silky smooth feeding and chambering, and its powder burns quickly and completely to minimize fouling.
This round’s 900 fps muzzle velocity wasn’t recorded with a 4- or 6-incher. That’s the work of Winchester’s 20” test barrel, which zaps a 50-yard target with around 409 ft lbs of energy.
