About This Ammo Incorporated 5.56x45mm Ammunition
Ammo Inc. is one of the newer kids on the ammo manufacturing block, but they’ve proven themselves to be yet another great American company. This is their 5.56x45 SS109 ammunition – identical in form and function to the American military’s M855 minus the green paint on its bullets’ tips!This round’s FMJ contains steel and will attract a magnet. But it hasn’t got an economical bimetal jacket! What it has got is a solid steel penetrator core, a feature which enables the bullet to pass through 0.125” thick sheet steel at ranges up to around 660 yards. The bullet weighs a little heavier at 62 grains, thus giving it more momentum to promote better long-range accuracy, although you’ll need a 1:8 or 1:9 barrel twist to witness that advantage firsthand.
Need brass for reloading? This box of ammo will leave you with 200 premium shells once you have fired it all. Ammo Inc. also loads non-corrosive Boxer primers and specially formulated low-residue powder, so your rifle will retain its full functionality longer!
