About This Armscor 6.5MM CREEDMOOR Ammunition
The greatest power of all? The power of friendship. The second greatest power? A competent marksman firing a 6.5 Creedmoor rifle loaded with Armscor’s American-made 143 grain ELD-X ammunition.
The ELD-X combines multiple feats of Hornady’s engineering. That starts with its tip: the Heat Shield, which won’t deform and flatten while air friction fries it, and also showcases the Drag Variability Reduction Technology tip design that is optimized to increase drag uniformity and reduce dispersion.
The ELD-X’s metallic components are no less remarkable. Its jacket? An Advanced Manufacturing Process jacket, which is drawn with virtually zero runoff. The concentric AMP additionally features a sleek secant ogive and boat tail, as well as an InterLock ring that tethers it to the ELD-X’s dense lead core.
The fruits of these features? A 0.315 G7 BC bullet that holds on to ~75% of its initial velocity at 500 yards, sinks deeply inside the quarry, and lets loose devastating terminal expansion the whole time it’s at it.
Armscor loads these rounds with new brass. It’s reloadable. Handloading is the third greatest power of all, incidentally.
