About This Browning 9mm Luger Ammunition

This is high-grade, Illinois-made 9mm self-defense ammunition by the one and only Browning. It solves one of the oldest and central design flaws of the classic hollow point bullet design – it prevents the hollow itself from becoming obstructed with material, such as clothing fibers or plywood, and losing its ability to trigger rapid expansion as the result.

Look into the nose cavity of this round’s 147 grain JHP and you will see the X-Point. This aptly named structure blocks debris out of the nose cavity, but it doesn’t turn away the pressurized soft tissue which commences expansion. The bullet’s notched jacket further helps to guide wide expansion, and its heavier weight commands the subsonic muzzle velocity you would want for a suppressor. (To be sure, this ammo will work just fine in unsuppressed 9mm firearms as well.)

Nickel-plated brass cases are the signature of extra reliable personal protection ammo. Nickel is shiny for added visibility in the chamber, repellant of corrosion that could harm functionality, and low-friction for smoother cycling of a semi-automatic.
