Winchester's "Train & Defend" ammunition series offers a one-stop shop for defensive handgun owners. Train & Defend consists of matched pairs of JHP and FMJ ammo with identical ballistics to help shooters practice with a lower cost version of their carry load.

This 9mm Luger version of Train & Defend is part of the "Defend" component and uses a heavy 147 grain jacketed hollow point bullet moving at a relatively slow muzzle velocity of 950 feet per second.

This ammunition is also engineered to produce reduced recoil without sacrificing much in the way of terminal performance, increasing the defending shooter's potential rate of fire and accuracy.

Manufactured in Oxford, Mississippi, these cartridges come packaged in a case of 200 (10 boxes of 20). Each round uses non-corrosive Boxer primers and durable nickel-plated brass cases ideal for the slow wear and tear of everyday carry.
