These cartridges can also serve well for general purpose indoor or suppressed shooting. Each cartridge in this box of 50 fires a heavy 147 grain brass enclosed base bullet at a subsonic muzzle velocity of 950 feet per second.Brass enclosed base bullets are similar to full metal jacket rounds with the exception of a cap added to the base of the bullet to prevent lead particles from the core escaping when the round is fired and potentially causing a health hazard.
