9MM +P SPEER GOLD DOT SHORT BARREL 124 GRAIN JHP (20 ROUNDS)

Big guns are all well and good. But when you’re trying to carry a pistol without drawing any attention to yourself, smaller is gold.

And so too is this ammunition! Speer Gold Dot Short Barrel ammo is engineered for seamless functionality inside pistols with barrels as short as 1.9”. Reliable penetration and expansion? Reduced felt recoil? Both part and parcel of the Gold Dot Short Barrel Experience!

This certainly isn’t the lowest-recoil ammo you could choose for personal protection, though. It is 9mm +P: loaded to generate higher-than-standard chamber pressure on ignition. That’s why its 124 grain bullet’s muzzle velocity out of a 3.5” test barrel is on par with that of a standard-pressure load’s 115 grain bullet out of a 4” barrel! That’s also why it kicks and hits harder.

The Gold Dot is one of the finest jacketed hollow points ever devised. It features a bonded jacket that enables it to remain more intact as it tunnels through barriers such as heavy clothing and drywall, and its nose cavity is fine-tuned for reliable feeding and terminal expansion. It’s no wonder why the Gold Dot is one of the preferred bullets of law enforcement officers nationwide!
