The 6PX Pro is an absolute beast. This tactical flashlight’s IPX7 rating means it can be safely submerged in one meter (39”) of water for up to 30 minutes.

The 6PX Pro also shines brightly. Its two rechargeable 123A batteries (included) will power the LED to cast 600 lumens for 1.5 hours, which casts a beam of light to brighten targets up to 613 feet away. When you want to save power, switch to the 15 lumen setting for 52 hours of uninterrupted usage. The 6PX Pro’s micro-textured reflector always delivers a smooth beam of light that evenly illuminates foreign objects.

Changing modes is as easy as clicking the tailcap switch, which also enables you to temporarily cast 15 lumen light when you want to check drivers’ IDs and such.

Testing Lumen Output of the 6PX Pro

As part of our quest to find the best tactical flashlight out there, we used an instrument called an integrating sphere to measure the lumen output of SureFire's 6PX Pro flashlight. In the graph below, you'll see the flashlight's lumen output over 120 minutes of time and how it compares to the 600 lumen output advertised by SureFire.
