This flashlight is equipped with a nigh-indestructible LED emitter, which casts a brilliant 600 lumen beam of light to illuminate objects up to 613 feet away. The LED’s precision reflector promotes clean and unwavering light so you never have to second guess what you’re looking at, and a single charge provides 1.5 hours of uninterrupted illumination. A simple tailcap button turns the G2X Tactical on and off again.

The G2X Tactical features a durable yet lightweight polymer body, the IPX7 rating of which permits submergence in one meter (39”) of water for up to 30 minutes.

Testing Lumen Output of the Surefire G2X

We tested the lumen output using a tool called an integrating sphere. This device measures the performance of tactical flashlights. In the graph below, you can see how this Surefire did over 2 hours (120 minutes) and how that measured output compares to the 600 lumens advertised by the manufacturer.
