Federal Premium's Law Enforcement TruBall Deep Penetrator load is an ideal choice for taking down big cats, feral hogs, and two-legged predators! Each 12 gauge shotshell is made using a plastic, moisture-resistant hull with a 2-3/4" length that is safe for use in nearly any chamber. The hull is secured to an all-brass head which is fitted with a non-corrosive 209 primer. Inside each shell sits a one-ounce rifled slug atop a polymer ball and wad combination.When fired, the wad compresses in order to soften felt recoil and then forces the polypropylene ball into the slug's hollow core. This forces the slug's skirt and rifling towards the barrel walls, stabilizing spin while also centering the slug. As a result, the copper-plated slug exits the muzzle with uniform dimension and is capable of making hand-sized groups on targets 50 yards away. Posted onheavy copper plate rifled slug with polymer ball in back of base that keeps slug from deforming on impact and leading to deeper penetration. Definitely the slug for 1. DEEP 2. Huge beasts
