Designed for smooth bore shotguns, this Foster-style lead slug has a deep hollow in its rear to place its center of gravity as close to its tip as possible, stabilizing it. The slug’s apparent rifling does not in fact gyroscopically stabilize it in-flight; Rather, it minimizes the friction on your bore while the slug travels down it.

This slug’s great utility is in hunting near populated areas. Because it has a significantly shorter range than a rifle’s bullet, you may fire it with far less risk posed to possible bystanders.
