If you want to extend the magazine capacity of your tactical shotgun when firing slugs, this defensive load from Czech manufacturer Sellier & Bellot will get the job done without emptying your wallet. These shells feature a 2-1/2" length, which translates into a magazine capacity of nine in a shotgun that typically holds eight 2-3/4" shells. This load uses a low recoil charge that fires the one ounce slug at 1,050 feet per second. Lower recoil means increased comfort on the range and a higher rate of fire in a self-defense situation.

This ammunition comes in boxes of 10 and is designed to work with pump shotguns. Due to its relatively light load, it may not cycle properly in semiautomatic ones.
