If this 20 Gauge shell’s F shot was just a tiny bit larger in diameter, it would officially qualify as buckshot. Also known as TTT shot, F shot is great for home defense because it delivers a dense pattern accompanied by a lower chance of overpenetration. It’s also suitable for hunting varmints and predators when 00 buck would be overkill!

This shell is packed with 26 shot pellets, each made of hard lead and exactly 0.22” in diameter. When propelled to a muzzle velocity of 1,250 fps by an even-patterning high-density wad, that shot column delivers a tight spread which produces over two dozen deep wound channels at close range.
