How does Eley make this round so accurate? Not just by loading it subsonic. They also load it with a hyper-standardized 40 grain lead round nose of their own creation, which feeds with all due efficiency courtesy of its low-fouling beeswax-based lubricant. The LRN is additionally made of high-antimony lead, which resists deformation while it is cycled into the chamber.

Never had this many misfires and variation of weight per 50 rounds

Posted onNot happy with Eley Wolf Match Extra never had this with the old version of Lapua ammo. The brass has different coloration shades don't know if that effected the hardness of the rim causing misfires all I know is I don't have this problem with other brands of ammo. Mike

Posted onWolf Match Extra works perfect through my Pardini. It's the only ammunition I use when shooting bullseye matches. Never a problem with Wolf.

Ammo brass had different shades of color don't know if that affects the hardness of the rim some rounds did not go off on first try
