Packaged in a 20 round box, this US made .223 Remington ammo from Armscor is a great value for target practice in an AR pattern rifle. These cartridges use the same 62 grain full metal jacket bullet weight found in current issue M855 military ball ammo but without the steel penetrator as this is just a lead core projectile It also uses non-corrosive Boxer primers and reloadable brass cases. The 62 grain bullet, though slightly slower than the 55 grain bullet used in M193 rounds, will produce a very similar trajectory at all but the longest ranges. It is best used in barrels with a 1-9 or 1-7 twist, the most common rifling types.
