This bullet’s relatively lighter weight, thinner jacket, and inability to produce significant expansion all make its terminal performance inadequate for hunting medium game. Its 0.254 G1 ballistic coefficient (24” test barrel) does mean it cruises along quite a flat trajectory, however, and its ~750 ft lbs striking energy at 200 yards would pose a serious problem for any varmint that gets caught in your crosshairs.
