About This Patriot Sports 223 Remington Ammunition
There’s no shame in admitting when you have a problem. The only real embarrassment comes from not acknowledging when you need help. For instance, if you’re all out of 223 Rem target ammunition, then aren’t doing yourself any favors by denying it. You’re only postponing the ideal solution: ordering a case of the goods with free shipping from your pal the Ammo Man.This 223 Rem ammunition is made by Patriot Sports, which means it’s made by STV Technology s.r.o. (the same Czech cats behind the Scorpio brand of ammunition). Each C.I.P. spec cartridge features a fresh-as-morning-dew brass case, which harnesses a noncorrosive Boxer primer, clean-burning charge of propellant, and 55 grain full metal jacket projectile. Chop that bullet in half if you want to admire its lead core, brass jacket, and total absence of any metals that could attract a magnet. By STV’s measure, this ammo groups less than 70 millimeters at a distance of 100 meters. (That’s around 2.75 inches and 109 yards in freedom units.)

Customer Reviews of this 223 REM PATRIOT SPORTS 55 GRAIN FMJ (1000 ROUNDS)

Hot, and sweet
How quickly did your order arrive? How likely are you to recommend this product to a friend? These rounds are on the hot end of the scale for .223, not to say that they are not safe, they are made to C.I.P. standards. CIP is controlled by member governments, including the U.K., SAAMI is controlled by industry. Yes that does sound like putting the coyote in control of the chicken house. CIP is more stringent about unsafe pressures. These rounds have very nice brass, the primers are not crimped, and I think they will make excellent cases for reloading. Accuracy is about what you would expect from a FMJ, though to be fair my rifle has a twist that is not ideal for 55 grain projectiles, I still get 2 inch groups at 100 yards with a cheap LPVO. I have very carefully packaged these for long term storage, the question is, can I leave them alone? Probably not, my guess is that they will be shot up in six months. lol
