These 62 grain rounds will function flawlessly in your AR-15. They are perfect for marksmanship training, varmint hunting, dynamic range training or just some plinking. Higher grain weight ammunition tends to function very well in semi-auto weapons. The added powder load necessary to fire the round ensures complete cycling of the round.

Union Metalic Cartridge (UMC) is owned by Remington, but UMC produces their own line of quality ammo. UMC was founded in the late 1800's and merged with Remington in the early 1900's. Remington UMC was a major manufacturer of ammunition for WWI.

Something to note: Closed Tip Flat Base (CTFB) ammo is UMC's equivalent of a FMJ, and will have the same in flight and on target ballistics as a FMJ.
