About This Colt 30.06 Springfield Ammunition

These Colt branded cartridges are a great, cost effective training load for your 30-06 competition rifle.

This ammunition is created by Barnaul, a Russian company responsible for the popular Silver Bear line, and branded with the Colt name in order to bring the round to localized competition specification. The 168 grain bullet with a boat tail design is used for consistency with common precision loads. Steel casings are used to keep the price down which also makes this great ammo for general range blasting. The casings are zinc-coated for corrosion resistance and smoother operation.

The cartridges are Berdan primed and non-reloadable. While the bullets are made as conventional full metal jacket rounds, they may have a bi-metal jacket which is sometimes not accepted for indoor range use. Please check with your local range beforehand.
